Bertrand Russell's advice to future generations: Text summary
2 Important things : a. Intellectual, b. moral
a. Intellectual Advice-
When studying any matter or philosophy ask yourself :
-What are the facts?
-What is the truth that the facts bare out (confirm, prove, substantiate)
Never let yourself be diverted by what you wish to believe or what is socially accepted thought.
b. Moral advice:
-Love is wise.
-Hated is foolish.
In this increasingly interconnected world we must put up with the fact that people say things we do not like. We must learn to tollerated each other.
Charity and Tollerance are the values we must continue to cultivate.
